To deepen higher education exchanges between Taiwan and Vietnam, Associate Dean Vinh Truong Quang of the College of Communication and Marketing at Hoa Sen University (Vietnam) led a delegation of over 30 faculty members and students to Nanhua University for a three-day visit from July 20 to 22. Organized by Nanhua University's International Business Program and the Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs, the exchange was centered on the theme of "Sustainability", featuring campus tours, corporate site visits, cultural experiences, and technology explorations—showcasing the University's achievements in international education exchange and University Social Responsibility.
On the first day of the exchange, Deputy Director of the Office of International Affairs and Executive Director of the International Business Program, Lun-Chuan Lin, guided the delegation around the campus, introducing the University's educational philosophy and distinctive features. The visit included the library, e-Learning Center, virtual studio, College of Arts and Design, and the Life Education Image Hall, offering insight into the University's transdisciplinary teaching approach integrating AI technology, humanities and arts, and life education. The delegation also visited Uni-President Enterprises to learn about ESG sustainable governance practices, toured the Fo Guang Shan Buddha Museum to experience Taiwanese religious culture and life education, and also toured the Taichung Science Park to understand the development of Taiwan's semiconductor and AI industries.
Nanhua University President Chin-Hsung Kao expressed his hope that this exchange would further deepen the partnership with Hoa Sen University. Looking ahead, the University aims to continue promoting student exchanges, faculty visits, dual-degree programs, joint research, and industry-academia collaboration. This collaboration aims to cultivate a new generation of talent equipped with both international competitiveness and sustainability literacy, working together to open a new chapter in Taiwan-Vietnam higher education cooperation.
