Nanhua University "University Social Responsibility Practice Project Office" Officially Opened
Nanhua University continues to be deeply involved in the long-term practice of cooperation with the local government and community. In order to further implement social responsibility of the university and with support of the Ministry of Education’s “Social Responsibility Practice Program (USR Project)”, on June 8, 2018, was the Nameplate Unveiling Ceremony for the University's Social Responsibility Practices Office. The event was held on campus to help demonstrate the school's determination to practice social responsibility. On the same day, University President Lin Tsong-min presided over the opening ceremony, along with the Executive Vice President Lin Chen-chang, Dean of General Affairs Xie Zhen-cai, Chief Secretary Ye Yue-jiao, Dean of the College of Humanities Yang Si-wei, Director of the General Education Center Lin Jun-hong, and the directors of USR-related programs were also in attendance. After the ceremonial event, President Lin Tsong-min stated that Nanhua University is a university with four characteristics including "Life Education", "Environmental Sustainability", "AI Innovation" and "Three Good Deeds Campus". Being the only university in Dalin Town, Chiayi County, it is necessary for the university to practice social responsibility.
