Nanhua University implements sustainable development and wins “National Enterprise Environmental Protection Award”, earning dual certification for “Environmental Education Institution” and “Environmental Education Facilities and Places”
Nanhua University has long attached importance to environmental protection and environmental sustainability, and remains committed to promoting energy conservation, carbon reduction, and environmental education to implement the United Nations sustainable development goals. In recent years, under the leadership of President Tsong-Ming Lin, the University has been committed to sustainable development. His promotion of sustainability has been outstanding and he has won many awards. This year, he passed dual certification of “Environmental Education Institution” and “Environmental Education Facilities and Places” from the Environmental Protection Agency of the Executive Yuan. Nanhua is now the second dual-accredited university in the country. Additionally, the “2020 TCSA Taiwan Enterprise Sustainability Award” Excellent Case Award University USR Sustainability Program “Silver Award”. On November 19, Lin received not only the “National Enterprise Environmental Protection Award”, but also the “Green Action Award”. These show Nanhua University continues its efforts in implementing environmental sustainability.
