Founded by Venerable Master Hsing-Yun, the founder of Fo Guang Shan, through the collective effort of millions of followers, Nanhua University has in recent years strived to become a model university for physical, mental, and spiritual health. To enhance students' international competitiveness, on Nanhua University's 30th anniversary, Vice President Yueh-Chiao Yeh led an academic delegation to the United States from March 30 to April 7 for a nine-day in-depth exchange. Spanning San Francisco, Miami, and Los Angeles, the delegation successfully reached agreements on interdisciplinary research and student exchange collaborations with several prestigious universities, including Minerva University and Florida Atlantic University (FAU). In the future, Nanhua students will not only be able to visit or study on-site at Silicon Valley tech giants such as Meta and Apple in the United States but will also expand their international horizons—integrating AI technology perspectives with a compassionate spirit—through internship opportunities with overseas Fo Guang Shan temples, including Hsi Lai Temple in Los Angeles.
