
To carry forward the spirit of gratitude from the 30th anniversary celebration of "Nurturing Talents for Generations, Sustaining Nanhua," Nanhua University held the "Tree of Hope" tree-planting event for graduates on May 20. The event was organized by Nanhua University and co-organized by the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture. University President Chin-Hsung Kao, along with Vice Preside https://nhuwebfile.nhu.edu.tw/UploadedFiles/2026/8/b06f65dd-d2c9-4e8c-8af4-7b73fa7dae07.pngnts Shu-Ling Lai and Yueh-Chiao Yeh, led the University's senior administrative directors, college deans, and graduate representatives from all 24 departments and graduate institutes to participate in the tree-planting event. A total of 30 saplings were planted, leaving a footprint of gratitude, blessings, and sustainable heritage for the graduates.
The event commenced under the leadership of the President and the five college deans. Department chairs, together with the graduating representatives, jointly planted the saplings, symbolizing the deep roots of their respective departments and institutes while carrying hope for the future. Planting 30 saplings to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the University’s founding was particularly significant.
