President Lin, Tsong-Ming leads first-level and second-level executives to do race walking and the whole field cheers

     In order to encourage all teachers (professors) and students in university to do exercises, promote teachers’ (professors’) and students’ physical and mental health, improve qualities of physical fitness and sports skills, cohere group spirits and gain exchanges between departments and departments, Nanhua University held a sports meet of the whole university on November 23 and take “spring life, pursue prominence” as theme, let students show their energetic spirits. On the activity’s day, many important guests gathered, deputy supervisor 蔡忠益 from school physical education division of sports administration of Ministry of Education, deputy director Lin Hsi-Hsin from department of education of Chiayi City especially attend in person and congratulate, many principals from senior high school and vocational high school in Yunlin, Chiayi and Tainan area also attended and show positive and supports toward running the university, people from the community is responding the sports meet and watch the shows and competitions, cheer up for the students, all teachers (professors) and students in university show their skills and it is bustling.

     Sports meet in Nanhua University begins with the march of all teachers and staff in university, which is lead by the Chief Secretary, Yeh Tzong-Ho, and the creative march of students in every department, is even more creative. The three goodness dolls, which symbolizes do good things, say good words and keep good mind separately, is cheered by students as soon as it appears and add some bustling aura to the opening ceremony.

Nanhua University’s president Lin, Tsong-Ming indicates that the University not only pay much attention to students’ character education, but also emphasize on the average development of virtue, wisdom, body, group and beauty. Hope that through holding the sports meet, this activity can let every one display team spirit, and train healthy body, and add some vigorous aura to the campus. The first competition is race walking exhibition match for first-level and second-level executives, which president Lin, Tsong-Ming leads first-level and second-level executives to do it, and bring the spirit “let vitality promote vitality” of teachers in the university and administration group into full play, teachers and students cheer. About the 5000m of boy section participated by teachers and students, the campaign is Lai, Chia-Sheng from the computer center.

　　Category of competitions in this year’s sports meet are creative cheerleading dance, track meet and fun competition, every one in school is signing up enthusiastically, participants are prepared to show their strength, let the final contest keener. Nanhua University held cheerleading dance contest for the first time and after the primary election, on sports meeting day, 6 departments, department of Business Administration, department of Visual and Media Arts ,department of Philosophy and Life Education, department of Natural Biotechnology, department of Applied Sociology, department of culture and creative enterprise management, are all promoted to final competition, each department showed their group spirit, and each team combined different music and dance to show youthful vigor, its kuso performance vibrated the whole audience. At last, the campaign is department of culture and creative enterprise management, the second place is department of Business Administration, and the third place is department of Applied Sociology. Tug of war, which can show group spirits the most, has keen compete, teams participating in this year has a well-matched strength, the campaign is department of Applied Sociology. The campaign of relay race is department of Natural Biotechnology. The campaign of Meeting Championship and Teamwork Championship is department of Applied Sociology, this department can be the biggest winner of this time’s sports meeting.

     In order to let students know more about exotic foods, foreign students from around the world prepare their local food for every one to taste, teachers and students love them, such as Malaysia’s Bak-kut-the, Macao’s lemon coke, and Japan’s instant noodles and cookies and many more. Sports meet in Nanhua University is bustling and many alumni come back to school to participate, and let this activity even more success.
