Expanding the Dalin Cittaslow Experience for Better International Links
Nanhua University and Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna Collaborative Design Thinking Curriculum
Director of the General Education Center of Nanhua University, Mr. Jun-hong Lin has been executing Ministry of Education policy as well as inviting guests and professors to reiterate a firm connection between Nanhua University and Dalin Cittaslow community. He has promoted slow food and slow activity within the concept of slow city, and implemented the United Nations sustainable goals for the campus.
Nanhua attempts to expand this experience abroad to further challenge students. Academic Affairs Dean Buo-ching Chen and Presidential Secretary Yue-jiao Ye visited Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and met university president, Sensiri Sangajit. Together, the two institutions signed an international agreement to link the universities with social responsibility programs. The future holds exchanges for students and faculty in addition to training students to examine aging and youth employment in both urban and rural areas.
